The lawn decides. Ambrogio listens.
Why choose Ambrogio
The Ambrogio philosophy is simple: it’s not technology that takes the lead — it’s the lawn.
Every garden is unique. That’s why Ambrogio robots are designed to adapt to their surroundings, the terrain, and the real needs of the user.
From cutting quality to advanced technology, every detail is created to listen and respond intelligently, never to impose.
4-point star blade
RESULTS YOU CAN SEE EFFICIENCY, DURABILITY, PRECISION
At the heart of Ambrogio’s cutting system is the 4-point star blade in hardened steel: a design choice that combines clean cutting, safety, and long-lasting performance. It’s not just an accessory — it’s the key to the health and beauty of your lawn.
- Professional cut: the star shape slices grass cleanly, without tearing or damaging it.
- Perfect result: the lawn grows healthier, denser, and more uniform.
- Long life: can be resharpened and reused multiple times, reducing waste and costs.
- Safe: firmly fixed, it never detaches — eliminating the risk of metal fragments on the lawn. A blade designed to respect the environment, protect those who enjoy it, and enhance every pass of the robot.
Visible performance
MORE POWER, LONGER PERFORMANCE.
A lawn mowed by Ambrogio is uniform, neat, and visibly healthier, thanks to a system designed for precision and regular cutting that encourages dense grass growth without chemical fertilizers.
The real difference comes from Ambrogio’s advanced batteries and cutting system. The powerful, long-lasting batteries allow the robot to work for longer periods without interruption, ensuring consistently optimal mowing results even in demanding areas.
Combined with hardened steel blades and reliable cutting motors, Ambrogio can manage larger surfaces in fewer working days — maximizing efficiency while keeping your lawn in perfect condition.
Sculpted, wide, rubber-coated wheels
GRIP, TRACTION AND RESPECT FOR THE LAWN
Ambrogio’s wheels are more than functional: they are engineered to maximize grip and ensure stability on any surface.
Large, wide, and coated with soft rubber, they adapt perfectly even to uneven, damp, or sloping ground, delivering excellent traction without damaging the grass.
The sculpted tread improves grip and movement accuracy, reducing slippage and soil compaction. The result? Greater efficiency, less stress on the ground, and healthier grass.
4WD traction with integrated power
NO LIMITS, ONLY RESULTS
Ambrogio’s 4WD traction combines high-performance electric motors with long-lasting batteries, designed to handle even the toughest terrain.
Thanks to the balance of power, intelligent electronics, and optimized distribution, 4WD robots work confidently on steep slopes, uneven ground, and demanding surfaces, guaranteeing a uniform cut where others stop.
Every movement is calibrated to deliver the best balance of performance, stability, and battery life: powerful yet gentle traction, built to respect your lawn and never stop.
Smart mapping
CLOUD SYSTEM
Thanks to a fixed antenna and 4G connection, Ambrogio constantly saves and updates its coordinates on the proprietary ZCS Cloud, enabling robots to operate with extreme precision up to 15 km away. Through the Ambrogio app, you can draw the lawn perimeter, guide the robot along the boundaries, create multiple maps, and switch between configurations with a single tap.
A shared network of antennas guarantees maximum coverage and a flawless cut — wherever you are.

Steel blade vs disc with cutter
Ambrogio robots use a star-shaped steel blade, very different from discs with thin cutter blades. The Ambrogio blade is robust, sharpened on multiple sides and designed to deliver a precise, uniform cut and effective, longer-lasting mulching.
Unlike cutter blades, which wear out and can break easily (especially if the lawn isn’t perfectly clean), the steel blade better withstands small branches, pine cones and uneven ground and can be re-sharpened, lasting for several seasons.
For the end customer this means better cut quality and fewer replacements; for the dealer it means less extraordinary maintenance and a more solid product to recommend.
Slopes and difficult terrain
Yes. Ambrogio performs particularly well on slopes. Models dedicated to inclines, with 4WD all-wheel drive and an articulated chassis, can handle steep ascents and descents while maintaining grip and stability. High-grip rubber wheels and a centre of gravity designed for work on slopes allow the robot to manage gradients up to 60–75% (depending on the model), difficult terrain and adverse conditions such as wet grass or mud, operating safely where many standard solutions would struggle or slip.
Rubber wheels vs rigid wheels
Ambrogio wheels are designed to maximise traction and durability. The rubber tread ensures grip even on wet or uneven lawns, limiting wheel spin and protecting the turf.
More rigid, smaller-diameter wheels tend to wear out sooner and lose grip, increasing the risk of spinning that can damage the lawn and reduce performance. With Ambrogio, the robot advances progressively and in a controlled way, with a gentler impact on the ground.
Silence and comfort of use
Yes. Thanks to brushless electric motors and a well-balanced blade, Ambrogio maintains noise levels of around 60–65 dB(A), comparable to a quiet conversation. This allows flexible scheduling, including evening slots, minimising disturbance. Low noise is a key advantage both for end customers and for installations in noise-sensitive residential contexts.
Maintenance compared to other cutting systems
Ambrogio is designed to minimise maintenance. Compared to a petrol mower, it does not require fuel handling, oil changes, spark plugs or filters. Compared to robots with cutter blades, it requires far fewer blade replacements. The typical routine is: periodic cleaning, checking the blade once or twice per season and an annual check-up at an authorised centre. In return, you get a consistently well-mowed lawn with very limited effort.
Autonomy, multi-zone and large surfaces
Autonomy depends on the model, but mid-to-high range Ambrogio robots are designed to work for many hours on a single charge, covering large surfaces with fewer returns to the base. Compared to products with very limited autonomy and frequent recharging, this translates into more efficient lawn management and reduced overall wear.
Ambrogio is designed for articulated gardens. Many models can manage up to 8 separate areas, running different mowing programmes. This enables a single robot to cover front and back gardens, side areas or different levels. Strong multi-area capability is a concrete advantage over simpler solutions, which often require manual moves or do not support more than a few zones.
Reliability and value over time
Ambrogio builds on Zucchetti Centro Sistemi’s experience in robotics and uses components designed for intensive use: robust shells, brushless motors, quality lithium batteries and a re-sharpenable steel blade. The availability of original spare parts and the authorised service network help keep the robot in service for many years, well beyond the typical lifecycle of cheaper products. For customers it’s a long-term investment; for dealers it’s a reliable brand to recommend to those looking for solid, professional solutions.
